Minister of Energy and Water João Baptista Borges has been in the People’s Republic of China since June 17 and is set to return on June 22. He is attending the 15th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum (IIICF) in Macau, China, under the theme “Green Innovation, Digital Connectivity.”
In addition to the conference, the minister has a packed work agenda that includes high-level meetings and visits to the exhibition of Chinese companies participating in the forum, with a strong emphasis on those active in the energy and water sectors.
As part of today’s activities, the Angolan minister visited the stand of SiNOMACH-CMEC. During the visit, he witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between GAMEK and SINOHIDRO. This agreement focuses on cooperation in projects involving power plants, transmission lines, and substations in Angola, aiming to enhance the country’s energy and water infrastructure.
